TV Time is shutting down on July 15, 2026 — and when it does, 26 million people's watch history gets deleted for good. Here's how to save your list and pick up right where you left off, free.
TV Time (owned by Whip Media) announced it's ending the service on July 15, 2026. After that date the apps disappear from the App Store and Google Play, the website goes offline, and all your tracked shows, check-ins, and ratings are permanently deleted with no recovery.
Step 1: Export your TV Time data (do this before July 15)
Don't lose your history. TV Time offers a self-service export:
Go to gdpr.tvtime.com and request your data.
You'll get a downloadable file with your watch history, ratings, and check-ins.
Save it somewhere safe. That's your list — we'll bring it over next.
Step 2: Move your shows to Help Me Binge (takes seconds)
Help Me Binge is a free TV tracker built for exactly this. You don't re-add shows one by one:
Tap the ⋯ menu → Import, then choose "Paste a list" or upload your CSV.
Paste your show titles (or drop in the CSV) — it finds them all and adds them at once.
Review the matches, pick a category (Watching, Plan to watch, or Watched), and you're done.
Your watch data stays on your device by default. Want it synced across your phone and laptop? Create a free account — it's optional, and your data is never sold.
Why Help Me Binge?
Never lose your place — it remembers the exact episode you stopped on, across Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, Prime Video, cable, all of it.
Catch-me-up recaps — get caught up before a new season starts.
Know what to cancel — see which streaming subscriptions are actually worth keeping.
Built for two — track together or separately with couple/household mode.
Free, no download, your data is yours.
Don't lose your shows.
Export from TV Time before July 15, then bring your list here in seconds.
