Love the idea of Movie Paradise, but don't have an iPhone?

Movie Paradise won a lot of goodwill for one specific reason: it brings your TV Time comments back, not just your episodes. It deserves that credit. The catch is that it is Apple-only — no Android, no web. Help Me Binge restores the same comments and runs in any browser.

No download. No credit card. Android, iPhone, tablet or laptop.

Credit where it is due

Movie Paradise is a good app made by an independent developer, and it understood something most of the replacements missed: the comments are the part people are actually grieving. Episodes can be re-ticked in an afternoon. Six years of things you wrote while watching cannot.

If you are on an iPhone and you are happy there, it is a fine place to land and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. This page exists for the people who are not — which, on Android alone, is most of the planet.

What happens when you import here

Drop your TV Time GDPR export (the .zip) into Help Me Binge and every comment you wrote comes back attached to the episode you wrote it about — not dumped into a list, not truncated. Your shows, movies, watched episodes, watchlist, custom lists, rewatch counts and star ratings come with them.

The whole thing runs in your browser, on your device. Your export is never uploaded anywhere, so there is no migration queue and no waiting behind everyone else moving the same week — a real problem with some of the other importers this month.

And the thing no tracker does

Every tracker in this category knows what you watch. Not one of them knows what it costs you. Tell Help Me Binge which services you subscribe to — two taps, prices already filled in — and you get your real yearly number immediately. Add the shows you actually watch and it tells you which of those services has had nothing watched on it while you were busy elsewhere.

For most households that is somewhere between $200 and $600 a year going out for something nobody has opened in a month. It is usually the most expensive thing in the room and no tracker has ever pointed at it.

Common questions

Is Movie Paradise on Android? No — it is Apple-only: iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch and Vision Pro.
Will my comments really come back?Yes, if you saved your TV Time GDPR export. Each one is matched to the episode it belongs to.
What if I never downloaded my export? Then it is gone — the servers are off and the data was deleted. Nobody can recover it. More here.
Is Help Me Binge free?Yes, with no paid tier for tracking, importing, movies, sport or stats.
Can I use both apps?Yes. They both read the same export file, so one download imports into both.
